Ornatipinnis Pricing?

How much would you likely pay for a 4-5" Ornatipinnis polypterus, if you were purchasing it online..

I have seen them for sale in LFS for $54.99, but I am interested in the market on MFK.

Also, what about an Albino Polypterus? Likely senegalus..

Polys are more plentiful in the spring. I bought 4 ornates for $30/each and 10 albino polys for $7/each. The ornates arrived at 5-6" and the albinos at 3". I filled the box by also ordering several endys, lapradeis, weeksi, delhezis, and bichir bichirs so the shipping was only a couple of bucks per fish.

Interesting.. I am comparing internet pricing and wholesale pricing, etc, etc.. Trying to get an idea, because I don't do alot of work with African fish..

Leaning towards going retail and opening the shop to the public, and I am curious if I buy african fish through a transhipper, if I can still offer them to internet sales at a reasonable price..

That way I could offer good prices to the public, as well as internet sites such as MFK, and have a wide array of fish availability.. Not to mention I will be able to track down alot of different fish..

You bought those fish from another on-line retailer, who likely directly imported them?
