O's Loosing Interests In Pellets

My O's use to love Hikari pellets, but recently they have had no interest in them, my tiger won't even touch them and my albino just chews then spits most of it out?

Did I make a bad decision by feeding them goldfish as a treat?

dude same thing happend to my albino o bc of all the convict fry laying around but now that there to big to eat he is starting to eat pellets again lol

O's do have moments of going off food - you can try giving them a more varied diet to keep them interested.

i give mine peas cichlid stix pellets and flakes

I'll try cichlid sticks, but I hope they get back on pellets cause I can't keep buying feeders all the time.

actually dont buy feeders anymore theyll eat eventually dont worry

How long did you have them on goldfish? Sounds like you spoiled them and that's all they want now.. Just don't feed them goldies anymore, and eventually they will eat the pellets again.

just don't feed them goldfish again, and starve briefly if you must. At some point they'll eat pellets again

Don't feed them for a day or 2 and they will start to eat pellets again.
