Osars In same tank as Texas ..... Good idea ?

Just put convict cross texas cichlids in with my breeding pair of oscars they dont seem to mind at the mo but will they kill the texas's

How many? How big? What size tank?

Texas cichlids are supposed to be pretty tough, and so are convicts. As long as they aren't small enough to be swallowed they should be ok. (Assuming that you have a decent sized tank)

How can you tell if things will be alright without knowing tank size, fish size, and aggression levels? These are all vital questions that need answering before any answers should be given.

if you have a big enough tank it shouldnt be a problem.

Can't answer this. Texas are fine with Oscars. Convicts tend to dart at large fish to bite scales off them. A cross of the two well, anythings possible.
