i was wondering if it's okay to leave my 3-4 inch silver in with my two 4-5 inch oscar in a 55 for about a week? the silver is currently in a 20:( but i'm going to move it to a 150 or 200 or such soon. thank you.

It could go either way, but why risk it, tank separators are 15.99 at petco, that's a little Aro. Murphy's law always prevails! Good luck!

NO...NO...NO...I had my 10" arow with a 5" oscar and he beat the $hit outta my arow within 20mins of being together, and the oscar was the new guy as well, not only will that arow get beatten up it will either be killed, or eatten, keep him in the 20g best place for him till he hits 12" (obviously move him to a bigger tank) then add him with the oscar!!!! best way, or IMO sell the O

no no no no:grinno:

BIG NO, NO !........listen, a 3-4 inch silver doesnt have nearly the same body mass as a 4-5 inch oscar. I would put your oscar in the 20 for the mean time till your arowana grows out....remember, silvers grow 1-2 inches a month, while the oscars are much shorter.....Just make sure to do pleanty of water changes for the oscar since its in such a small tank. Or if you already have a 150-200 gallon available toss the "O" in there. Let your silver get way bigger then your oscar before you put them together or but a tank seperater.:D
