so today i re arranged the tank that my oscar had been in and added all new pieces and hiding spots for my new clown knife that i go the CK is about 7-8IN and the oscar is about 5-6IN the CK has chosen the planted area in the back left of my 60 gallon tank the oscar doesn't like to have a spot i have grown him out since he was 3IN but today when i introduced them both to the new set up the oscar keep going over and nudging the CK its been about half a day since i have had the CK and the oscar is still nudging and the CK wont move into on of the logs what do i do and will the oscar eventually stop this behavior i am only worried because last night i had gotten a 3-4IN CK for my ten gallon tank and my 1 1/2IN desmpy ate it.

The bigger the Oscar gets in that size tank the worse it will get. I've never owned a clown Knife, but I do own an Oscar. When I had him in a 55 he was very territorial toward everything and every one. Once I moved him into my 450g tank he could care less what fish was in the tank with him. I keep a BGK with my Oscar.

I would definitely look into upgrading tanks so that the oscar will chill out and add more tank mates so the oscar will have other fish to go after

An upgrade will definitely be needed in the future. As for now, I don't see it as being too much of an issue. Another solution is to remove the Oscar and rearrange the decor to give the illusion that it's in a completely different tank. I've kept both together without any issues between those 2...as for the Jag and the CK...that's another story. The CK is still trying to find it's "spot" but needs some time. With the Oscar in the way, it's probably not going to move seeing the Oscar as a possible threat.
