They do good together *IF* the Loaches are big and the Oscar small. Oscars grow super fast, if something will fit into his mouth that's where it's eventually going to end up.
i think it will work just fine. I have just one CL and he has made throght some rough times. He is one of my first fish to have. He has made it with lmb,smb, y-perch and a few other natives strong/smart fish. Which is actually kinda crazy cause the lmb ate 4 other types of loaches that were twice the size.

You're lucky the loaches didn't kill your fish on the way down

Thank you for your help everyone! I've fed the oscars primarily on pellets and they are currently in a tank with some small chiclids temporarily until I get the new tank. I have seen no aggressiveness at all. My largest of the two oscars is probably 5 inches.
