i have a 10 in jag and i was wondering if i could put a 10in oscar in with him or if im just askin for trouble the jag has lived alone for atleast the last 4 years and it will be a 90gal tank for now for them both

well its just going to have to do for now i am aware that the 90 is to small he was in a 30 the 90 is temporary while i build a larger one

jag will be ok by himself in the 90.
i wouldnt add anything to it except maybe a school of something small and cheap like tetras or minnows

I added an 11" jag with a 10" Oscar. It went surprisingly well andthey have lived together for about 2 months peacefully. The jag, however had lived in a community setting prior to my ca/sa tank. My tank is a 240 and the jags previous tank was'a 125. Regardless of aggression, that's a whole lot of fish for 90. Just be prepared to split them up of need be.

As said before, a 90 is too small for a jag alone so be aware of needin an upgrade in the near future

thank you i kinda like the idea of just adding a cheap school to it...it will keep the jag busy
