Oscar and Managuense breeding

So walked into my living room today and found that my oscar and managuese are breeding. Ive always noticed they were a team in the tank but i didnt think it was possible for them to breed. My managuense is a male ive bred him before with another female but i didnt know the oscar was a female. I doubt the eggs will hatch but thought it was pretty cool.

Eggs aren't fertilized. They will get eaten up. These two fish can't breed.

They make a neat pair but not possible.

Yeah I knew it wasn't possible but i thought it was still cool they laid eggs

Definitely an odd couple. Very cool. Watch out for post spawn aggression and stuff like that the Oscar would be at a great disadvantage.
