I want to keep an oscar with my pbass. I know that the combo doesnt really present a problem but my pbass is only like 3-4". I have him in a 20 gallon to grow a bit while the tank is cycling. I want to go ahead and put my oscar in my new tank and plan to get a small one too obviously. Will the oscar grow faster given his species and larger tank for the time and make my bass lunch? Let me know what you think.

what size tank are they going in?.....IME.....Oscar's and pbass grow about the same rate....a inch a month. depending on how much they eat and the water quality.

id get an oscar thats smaller than the pbass, only cause pbass are super sensitive at that size and he might get bullied with other fish the same size if not bigger than him. it might cause undue stress..

is it probable to be able to ID my pbass at 3-4". He was sold as a temensis but did not have a solid line so I knew better. Nevertheless, I was going to get one anyways so it didnt matter, I like them all!
