Now this guy BLOWS MY MIND. He got caught tail first by one of my Oscars. And some how got free, I found him resting on the bottom of the tank with NO Tail Fins. He was still kicking so i figured it was just a matter of time before one of the boys put him out of his Misery.

2-3 Weeks later.

Amazing what clean water does for an injured fish!

I have had Oscars before. I had two in a 55 gal that were about 8 inches long. They fought a lot. Do yours attack each other?

Don't admit that 2x 8" Oscars in a 55G on here too often. You'll get thrashed.

That being said, Yeah mine were being a major PITA when I first introduced them. BUT that's because the Albino was 3.5" and the Tiger was 5" in a 55G grow out. I ended up using a divider until they were both roughly 6 Inches. Then introduced them to the 180G at the same time, and had a school of 20 Giant Danios in the tank. They were sooo busy chasing the Danios that they never noticed each other. They get into every once in a while now, but the Tiger pushes the Albino to the bottom of the tank then goes back to chasing Danios and now Convicts....
