Oscar and SDs

In the last couple weeks I've noticed that the Sds in with my O have developed two black marks on the sides of there bodys. It looks too semetrical to be a desease buy I thought I'd be safe and ask as I'd hate for something to happen to them.

Worse yet for something to happen to my Oscar.

I have 5 Sds which range from 3 inches to 5 inches.

My O is 9 inches TL.

I can try to take some photos but any insight for now.

My water is pristine. 90 gal (2 big wcs a week) and 2 eheim 2217s so I don't think water quality is a problem.

Sounds normal to me. Both of mine eventually developed spots as well.

I've got 30 SD's and other metynnis and they do this all the time, it shows that the males have matured.
