Hi everyone. I was wondering what a great tank size would be to house 2 green severums and 1 oscar. I currently have the 2 severums at 7 inches with a sailfin pleco, striped raphael catfish, pictus catfish, and 4 silver dollars. All of this is in my 75 gallon. I really really want an oscar but dont want a cramped tank! Thanks :)

Others may say no, but i could see it working in the 75g. this would all depend on the tempermant of the oscar. but if the oscar is compatible, it would be tight. just make sure you have plenty of filtration

Sorry tank is too small for all of them plus an Oscar.. they would probably all get along okay but not sure about the silver dollars

I would say they can fit in the tank, but I think a 75 gallon would barely be enough for one full grown oscar himself.
So suggestion is aim for a larger tank, at least 24 inches wide.

Thanks guys! Yeah I was wanting atleast a 90g if I got the Oscar. I'm not getting rid of anything so I gotta work with what I got.

do it. i got an 11 inch red oscar and a 10 inch tiger with a cat and two plecos in a 90. keep it clean and everything is cool.
