hi i was wondering if i could put my rapheal catfish with my tiger oscar when the catfish is pretty much full grown?? and what do u think is a good size before i put rapheal catfish in with the oscar (the tank is a 75gal with an oscar and a common pleoc)??

I think the oscar would try and eat it, if Im thinking of the same thing they are not really big. I think it would get picked on. Plus your stocked up already, an oscar and pleco is a 75 gallon is pushing it.

the rapheal cat would pretty much hide most of the time that and its armor i would say it would work for compatibilty not talking about tank size or anything just if they could live together

i just got a ralphy last week and i have him in with JDs, Butti and a common pleco and they all are getting along well. the ralphy seems to bully the pleco but to bad at this point... so i dont see why it would not work with your oscar...

I have a striped rapheal in with my oscar and so far they have been fine together. My oscar isn't fully grown yet but they have been together since I first got my oscar when he was tiny. The rapheal hides in his little log all day and only comes out after I shut the lights off.

I've mixed both species before without any issues. Since they're active at different times of the day they won't bump into each other that much.

My Oscar briefly investigated the raphs when I added them, but ignores them now. Since they share habitat in the wild, it makes sense to cohab them in a tank if done correctly. I've got five raphs with my Oscar and all is well.
