Would I be able to keep one oscar in a 120gal. with a tire track? If so for how long, and what size differences should I look for?

yeah as long as the oscar can eat the eel.....

120Wide so 4'long 2'wide footprint. If I was going ot try it, and tbh I wouldn't. I'de make sure the eel was at least 2' before introing the Oscar. Oscars grow fast, and are generally aggressive. So introing a young Oscar to small for the TT to eat but the TT big enough that a 10"+ Oscar won't pose a big threat is the best way. Allowing the Oscar to grow up with the TT also teaches the Oscar at a young age the TT is not food, 'nore a toy. My Oscar started playing "whack an eel" with my fire eels making a game out of attacking their heads everytime they poked a nose out. He grew up with them... So it didn't work. My TT is a right jerk when he wants to be and keeps my bichir in line. the personality of the fish will matter alot. Be prepared to seperate if you need to as a worst case scenario.
