Hello, I baught a small tiger oscar to put in with my mad barb, tinfoils, balas, black bar silver dollars, all fish are good sized and growing well. My questions are: will the oscar being alone with no other oscars or cichlids grow up to be mostly non teritorial and not aggressive towards the other fish when it grows big? Will he mostly leave the gravel olone or move it all over the place, any information would be interesting. thanks, Bob

Large cichlids like to move things around, that's what they do :).
I have a GT that has always been alone, and he loves to dig pits in the substrate.
I think Oscars have gotten a bad reputation because they are big,and will eat anything. If he grows up with your other fish,I'm pretty sure he'll be fine with them when he gets bigger. You never know though, cichlids are anything but predictable.

Mine beat on or tore up silver dollars and pretty much anything silver and fast moving.Ignores the pleco, firemouth and black upside down cat he lives with.
