I just picked up 5ea of 2 different kinds of F! oscars. I was planning on one kind but got 2 different kinds (Peru and Bahia). My question is what do I need to do with my tank situation. I was going to put them in a 90gal tall (48x18x24 tall) and let them grow and pair up in there. But now im wondering if theres enough room to do this with 10 of them and will I run the risk of 2 different kinds pairing up? Could you raise 10 oscars in a 90 untill paring size? Seems cramped now that im thinking about it. I could set up a kiddy pool untill they pair but id rather not do all that. Could I keep 5 oscars in a 90tall untill they pair off? Maybe another 90tall will work for me? I have a good spot for another 4' tank is why I say a 90.

I don't know about the tank size situation, but I do know that you can risk them pairing with different types.
