so in my 125 gal i have ( all juvies) an oscar, BP, 2x JD's and a terqouise severum. i added the convict today, about the same size as the JD's and the oscar as well as male JD are chasing him rather overwhelmingly.. would you agree theyre just showin him the ropes to thier territory? thats why im not jumpin the gun and taking him back, because i feel theyre just letting him know who's boss and what belongs to whom... whatcha think?
also theres alot of hiding spots, hes just choosing to be active and.. get in their spots

i think your right thats why you should usually add them all around the same time periods so no one claims the tank...

its always a 50 50,my Tiger Oscar was like that with my JD,when I first bought him.Overall, they don't bother each other, cause the JD knows who is boss.

I always feel that we as responsible fish lovers take very good care of our fish and they are in great health and strong. When you buy fish out of the store and put them in a well established and care for tank they know that the other fish generally do not have the physical strength to ward off th attach.
