oscar chiclid temperment

I am new to this fourm!
Oscars for 1 are voracious eaters...They will try to eat smaller tankmates and anything that you put in the tank if they can fit it.
The temperment is sort of like a bully. They tend to like throwing their weight around letting everyone know they are the big bully on the playground. They don't go out of their way like some cichlids with mayhem and murder on their minds trying to destroy.
Put an oscar with an umbee or dovii and it will be an old fashioned beatdown to the oscar with a dead torn up oscar in the end.
Like people oscars can vary in personality...Some can be timid and others belligerant. For the most part they are pretty docile.

I have 2 oscars an albino and a tiger both 11"+
Albino = the most gentle giant ever, even a male gt I had sometime back did not bother him, same with my 9" texas. He did eat a semi decent sized firemouth I was stupid enough to try with them though.
Tiger oscar was nice until he got to about 8-9", he (or she I dont know) and my male gt fell out so bad I had to rehome the gt as it shreded him in the space of a few hours, he now bullys the texas about but wont leave the albino's side and never fights with it (pair forming perhaps?)
School bully type fish imo.
