Woke up to see my Oscar fish has died :( He was around 11 years old, at 15-16" he lived in a 260 gal with his female Oscar 10-12" and his 7" green terror and 7" plec. I don't know the cause of his death, he doesn't look like he had any diseases. Nips, bites, marks, HITH, he looked healthy but dead... Just seen him there totally dead, I gave him a push with my hand, but still he didn't move. He's dead :(

What do I do with him.. There isn't no where I can burry him, (for those who say to flush him, he will not even fit in the toilet :L ). What do I do ?

take some newspaper and wrap him up tightly into it. Dispose of in a waste receptacle. Seems so wrong when you have had him this long but there is no other choice.

Well the only other way I see, is to wrap him up, and place him in the trash. Not to seem cold, but with nowhere to bury him. What other choice do you have.

Sorry to hear it, it is very sad to lose them.

Sadder there is nowhere to bury too. I put mine that died in a freezer Baggie in freezer until I could get to burying him. Freezing first will help with any smell till trash day.

Best wishes & condolences.

Sorry to hear.

Sounds like its time for a Viking funeral.
