Not sure what to make of this.
New oscar (about a week with me), about 2in long, he's an only fish :)
75g
PH 7.6
ammonia 0
trite 0
trate 5ppm

Day or 2 after getting him appeared to be having trouble going to the bathroom.
At that point feeding him API Chichlid pellets floating, mini ones.
Looked like he was pooping them out.
His vent got dark colored, swelled.
His underside right above pelvic fin to vent right down middle swelled some and got white (almost like the skin was cut away to reveal the fat underneath).
Saw what I thought was internal worms coming out vent, got him on API General cure.
___
The whiteness appears ALMOST gone, nothing coming out vent, vent still dark but shrinking.
After he eats though whiteness comes back for a time. Its like I fed him so much he's bursting at the bottom seem but not actually swelling.
Not sure what to make of this.
Attached some pics, while some look like the white part is HUGE it isn't, almost flush with the rest of his body.

Now feed him peas, raw shrimp, the pellets (soaked in tank water for 5 min), Omega frozen cichlid.
No particular order, very little of each (spreading out the feeding) but I make sure he gets a pea a day to try and stop any straining.

If it wasn't for the constant swimming after eating I wouldn't be as worried but not like a dog where they can whine when uncomfortable so I can't tell if he's ok or not.

Suggestions?

Edit: Its been a few hrs since he ate, whiteness barely noticeable now.

Welcome aboard
Have you noticed any white stringy poop? I suggest treating with pure Epsom Salt. Don't feed anything for a day or two. Read link on dosage for Epsom Salt.https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/flowerhorn-bloated.731005/

Maybe you're feeding too much at a time.
Oscars (especially young ones) seem to have no sense as to when to stop eating, because in nature, its instinctually either feast of famine, so you must be their regulator and not feed just because it looks like it wants more.
Best not to feed til the stomach is bulging.

I used aquarium salt, only 1tbs per 10g; I don't know that it did anything but he SEEMED better after.
I thought about doing a out of tank soak but seems pretty extreme.
I'm not going to give any food tomorrow (lol he's gonna lose his mind).

The whiteness happens in the morning even after just giving 3-4 pellets. It's like he swollows a bunch of water along with eating. We'll see how no food tomorrow goes.

Thanks

In that prior link provided, use a salinity measuring device so that you can ensure proper salinity levels.

Duanes is correct over feeding. Epsom Salt works like a laxative aquarium salt will not do anything for bloat.

Im willing to try anything, pretty attached to him, I just don't see how its over feeding, in the morning he looks ALMOST like a normal fish; 2-3 mini pellets later and he balloons up. I won't give him anything tomorrow and see what happens.

If the little Oscar looks like what your describing the following morning then I agree wouldn't say it is Bloat so wouldn't worry about it.

There is/was definitely something wrong. I gave him an epsom salt bath, appears to be resting pretty well now. His vent has shrunk and his belly is quite a bit smaller. No food tomorrow at all, how often can I do these baths? I see a lot of diff info. To be on the safe side I did 2.5G with 1 tbs 15 min.

Is that to little?

Thanks
