My albino oscar i pooping out watery white poo, should i be worried? She's acting normal and my water params are good.

My clown fish was doing that and I was told it was an internal parasite when they poop white. The meds that was reccomended was Metronidazole. Look into that maybe.

whats an internal parasite and what causes them? are they deadly?

they are deadly the slowly absord all the nutrition from the digestive track of the fish...causing your fish to always be hungry and never getting enough nutrition. i honestly dont know what causes them or how to treat them as i have not had this problem and never put much research into it. hope you the best and hopefull people will start chiming in with some medicinal remedies and such to help you out.

Best way to treat an internal parasite is to soak it's food in the medicine just before feeding. That way you're really treating the problem at the source. Internal problems are the hardest to treat. I just lost one of my Os to a swim bladder infection. Good luck.
