Fish don't need to eat as much as most people think they do. If he's still not eating by tomorrow, check your water parameters.

yeah what she said, but I've never seen an oscar not jump at the opportunity to chow. What are you feeding and how long have you had it?

peas hikari gold medium pellets flakes and worms sometimes ive had him for about 2 or 3 months

I don't know then. Just give him a while, I'm sure he'll eat soon enough. If not look for symptoms of an illness.

This happened to one of my larger oscars. He lost interest in the food, and just wasted away. The water was fine, nothing changed and the other oscars and the other fish in the food were all fine, it was like he decided to die. Most odd.

Oscars can be moody and Mine would sulk about anything. But they would allways jump at a chance to eat.

If it were me i would check your param's and if it has been a few days since you have done a water change then I would do that as well.

Some keepers have been known to stick oscars in pretty small tanks like a 20g for example. If this is the case i would do a large water change anyway.

If everything checks out and he still won't eat you can give him some live feeder fish and that will surely perk him up.
