Ok, so here is the story. I have a pair of O's a tiger and an albino who I have had for about a 7 weeks now. I got them when they were 2" and they are now pushing about 3 1/4 - 3 1/2"(not inc tail). Well for the past several days the albino has been shakeing her tail in the face of the tiger, and just a day or two ago the tiger started to reciprocate the tail shakeing. There has never been agression between the two. This morning I observed them lip locking for the first time and noticed the tiger had his sex organ down, sharp and pointed, definately male. So naturally I looked at the albino, it was harder to spot b/c of her white color but hers was down also, a blunt nub much like my female P. Scalare's egg tube. It seems that they are "flirting", as they have not cleared anything, nor have they shown any attempt whatsoever to mate beyond lip locking, tail shakeing, rubbing all over each other and swiming around like they are attached at the lateral line all day. Could this actually be juvinal fish "flirting"?? Has anyone observed this in any of their fish?
