I generally like to buy things in bulk so i have been buying 3 or 4 large bags of pellet food for my Tiger Oscar from pets mart. Im starting to run low and was wondering what my fellow oscar lovers do as far as food goes for them.

bio-gold,krill,nightcrawlers,shrimp, chopped fish fillets works great for any mid to larg carnivorous cichlid or fish
BioGold+ as a staple here, too. Plus pure spirilina flake, Cichlid Excel, earthworms, crickets, mussel & shrimp a couple times a week, bloodworm cubes, mealworms, peas, zuchinni. They're omnivores and I don't think enough people realize that and feed accordingly. They do need their veggies, lots of vitamin C and keeps em' regular <g>. When they get their shrimp or mussels I squeeze the water out of it and soak it in VitaChem vitamins.
lets sum these all up what every 1 has said + my idea from my old oscars EVERYTHING + ANYTHING!!!!
staple pellet: either Omega One, NLS, or Hikari, to go along with freeze dried krill, frozen tilapia, silversides

$8.50 each for the big bags. PetsMart wants like $20 a bag where I'm at. PetsMart will price match but I don't think you can buy more than 1 bag at a time with price-matching.
