This is Epimetheus, my 7.5" (TL) Tiger Oscar. Took some new pics of him/her and thought I'd share some. The orange color is improving quite nicely since the staple of Epee's diet has been shrimp pellets. When I bought this fish it had a black and white zebra pattern resembling a horse fly that has completely disappeared.

very nice oscar

Sweet oscar, love the color, looks different from other tigers for some reason.

Thanks for the comments guys, I'll tell Epee :). This Tiger really is different from others sandtiger. Here are some pictures of when I first got Epee. Around 1-1.5" in these pics. At around 4" he/she completely darkened out. Then developed very little orange and the tail spot and now at 6-7.5 inches the orange is finally filling out. Maybe someone can fill me in on what kind of Oscar he/she is if not a Tiger.

i've seen tiger oscars and i've seen zebra. the only difference i've noticed is that the stripes in the tiger are more orange colored and in the zebra, they are more white to silver colored. they're probably the same fish with just a color mutation. to me, it looks like those are zebra oscars.
