I installed a new FX5 today, and I had to do some mod's to the stand so I set up my 20g with a healthy sponge filter and some tank water and moved my 2 3" O's and 5" Syno into it as a temp. holding tank while I did my work. Well about and hr. into it I came out to check on them and my Syno was chaseing my tiger O' and kicking the $*#! out of him :WHOA:, I immediately removed the perp and put him In a 5g bucket with an airstone. 2 late tho, my Oscar got whooped on and is missing a good number of scales and his fins are in shreds:cry:. After the tank was up and running I put the O's back in w/lights out. He seems ok, but obviously stresed. Cat is in the 20 :irked: for the mean time. I never had ANY problems in the big tank, obviously it was too tight of a fit for all 3. His wounds are all white, no pink and no bleeding so I dont think the dmg is too deep. What should I do to help my O heal up without major scaring or infection?

btw the same thing happened to my Oscar and he healed up great so I would keep him divided bc fish imo tend to notice weakness and will further injure him put that in the tank as instructed and he should be fine in a week or 2 depending on how bad

Thanks guys, I mixed a salen solution up and have it dripping into the tank nice and slow. I have been keeping a close eye on him for a while now  and he is doing his "feed me" dance allredy so I gave him a snibble to see if he would eat, and he did so I feel a bit better but I think im more upset about the whole thing than he is.

Dont' worry, as the others said this is nothing to worry about and as long as the water is ok he will be fine in a few days.
My O used to get cuts all the time from a bit of wood (now removed) and he healed in no time.
