I've searched this forum and I'm surprised I haven't found any information pertaining to this. I bought a 4" oscar this evening at a lfs and while observing it in the tank at the lfs it was flawless. When I got home and put it in the tank I noticed the right side of its head was swollen with a little mark in the center of the swollen area. I'm guessing it hit or injured its head when it was netted at the store. I've had several oscars before get scrapes and such from hitting their heads on things but never have seen it swell up. I've included a pic I made to give you an idea what it looks like. I'll have to get some pics of it soon. Just wanting to know if anyone has seen this before. Thanks.
