so I've bought 2 oscar about the same size, around 4" each, one of them seems to be OK when I'm around, and begging for food all the time, but the other one, is scare of me, and doesnt seems to eat much, do you guys hv the same problem before?how to solve this?should I starve it for a while?each are in the different tank on they own, 40 galls each

Some Oscars are more shy than others, check your water params just in case, keep up regular WC's and maybe try some different foods other than what you are feeding him (pellets, blood worms, krill, mysis, river shrimp). If he hasn't been in the tank long, just give him some time to adjust, Oscars are hearty and brave but you still need to give them a little time.
I hope you plan to upgrade however, those Oscars will need 60 or 75 gallon tanks each, at the very minimum.
