I left for one day an I come home to find my O got HITH practically overnight!! I did 50% water change and removed the carbon from my filter ( I found out carbon powder is thought to be a cause of HITH) I started feeding him a bit of each food, what else should I do it seems to be clearing up a little?

how big is the tank? what tank mates?? how often you clean???

do 25% changes every other day, feed him a variety of foods - NO FEEDERS.

other fish beating him can also cause HITH, it can be caused by stress soo...

the tanks 55g's and hes with a small senegal bichir I do a 30% water change everythree days and I never fed him feeders.

Do some 25% water changes daily.

If he's small, you sure it's not just his sensory pits coming in?

it's like a big white hole spreading it's not near his eyes or top of head it's right beside where the large fin that runs down his back starts ( sorry I don't know the name)

it's spreading really quick aswell I examined him this morning and it seemed to be going away I went out for an hour and come home and he has these to big white dent/holes!!!

Pics would really help. Could be JSS man, and in that case, you might need to use meds.
