Oscar hole in head help

Just noticed one of my big oscars is developing a hole in it's head just above the eyeball at the beginning of the lateral line. I need suggestions. It looks like a small crater the size of his average scales, but has a pinhole in the middle of it going much deeper. Need help.

if still eating try medicate his food with Metronidazole

Thanks. Hoping to catch this before it progresses too far. I've seen it a lot worse than what mine has so hopefully he'll survive it.

He will. If water is well kept and good food given, it will dry. Perhaps not close, but not worsen.
