Oscar in brackish water?

So I was looking for an active catfish to live with my oscar, and was considering a Colombian shark, but read that they need brackish water as they get older, so would the oscar be ok if i changed the water to brackish as the catfish got older? or are these two fish not compatible?

There was a thread on Columbian Shark Catfish and research says no they will not survive long in a freshwater environment. When you have time check out the thread.

Maybe Pimelodus specie , similar to the pictus catfish.
