Oscar Issues

All of a sudden my tiger oscar stopped eating. He also, as far as i know, has stopped excreting poop. This happened very suddenly last week. My params are all fine and he was eating great before, but then abruptly stopped for no reason as far as i know. Anybody have this happen to them before? What should i do?

He's about 7" long and i've had him (or her i guess) for several months.

i feed him hikari bio-gold pellets and freeze dried shrimp

Feed a few cooked peas and see if he starts eating soon. May be constipation. If he has stopped eating for over 10 days, start to panic. Consider an internal infection and you may need to treat with mela/pima fix.

thanks a bunch! should i use both melafix and pimafix or just one or the other (i have no experience with medicating fish)
