Woke up this morning and my 10" Oscar was on the floor in my dining room. I put him back into the tank and tried to help him, I got him breathing again but he ended up dying 2 hours later.... Never thought an oscar to be a jumper like that... Guess it's time to get a lid

My oscar constantly gets injuries on its head from trying to jump. Sorry for your loss but a lid is a great idea.

10"? so, u had him for a long time? sory for ure loss though.
 
My oscar will jump out to bite my wife. He doesn't do it to me, but if he sees her arm he goes for it. Left some little nicks on her arm yesterday. Tiny little cuts.

how did u find out it gender anyway? need to know. :L
