Oscar jumped out now he looks like this

my oscar jumped outta his tank last nite and i put him back in the tank. now this morning he looks like this. what should i do?

Just his slime coat is messed up.

Put some stress coat in there and wait it off. Pretty much thats all you can do for now.
 
I'd say its time for plastic surgery. Its time to get new scales and skin.
 
Get a glass lid. one that fits the entire top. Watch for secendary infection, and keep your salinity up.

that is exactly the problem. it didnt happen to me when my arowana jumpoed and out god knows how long he was out for. i think for about a good 20 mins and he made a full recovery. good luck on ur oscar. :headbang2
 
I would recommend melafix too. It seems decent for scrapes, and your oscar is a scrape right now.
 
Since he is producing ungodly amounts of slime right now (typical), monitor his mouth and gills for mucus buildup. It is possible to suffocate by inhaling to much mucus. I learned the hard way...:(

im sorry to hear that. by the way, did u get a chane to melafix and coat it or it died before you did anything???
