I dont know where to put this but I need help. Yesterday my oscar was fine. I heard some splashing after feeding time but just thought it was the bichir splashin around. I looked in the tank later and the oscar's right eye had been completely ripped out. There's now a gaping hole where his eye used to be. He's acting as normal as a one eyed fish can. still darts up to the front for food and everything. Theres a little bit of tissue trailing off the eye socket and I dont know if i should pull this off to reduce the risk of infection. Ive included some pics. Please help. I've only had him for a few weeks and he's my favorite fish. His only tank mates are a 10" bichir which I think took his eye, and a 4.5" pbass. he is about 4" himself.

the tissue in the hole in this pic is normally trailing behind him
