Oscar lost his appetite!

My Oscar has been raised on Hikari Staple Pellets, Wardley's Shrimp Pellets, fresh shrimp, fresh fish, meal worms, crickets, and sometimes some feeder goldfish. In the past 2 days he has lost his appetite, water is perfect. Last night he wouldn't eat the fish pieces I usually feed him, spit them back out. He ate 1/6 of the usual amount of pellets he usually eats this morning. The last time I gave him feeders was over 1 and a half months ago, I don't think he's sick. He swims about just fine. He is 9" TL, resides in a 50G 36"x18"x19" all alone with 2 Whisper 60 filters and the temperature is a constant 78F. What's up with my oscar???

he might just be bored
but it could be an internal problem
it is a good idea to keep some meds on hand just in case even if u dont use it
no feeder fish! death to all goldfish who apose us
