How much bigger? What size are either of them?
Problems normally only occur if it is small enough to fit in it's mouth. You also need to remember that Oscars grow very very fast so soon might be big enough to snack on it.
However if they are still both young the Oscar can be OK with fish it has grown up with and never eat it.

kinda hard to answer a question like this without knowing the fish size and the tank size in question. Filtration will also help.
