Not sure what's up with my guy, but he's been pooping a weird looking poop lately. Usually it's HUGE amounts and now it's not too much and stringy and he eats just as much. Ive also noticed it floats sometimes too, as where before it would always sink...Water params are good. Nitrates are around 20-30ppm.

Here's a pic

If he's still eating that's a good thing. If his poop is stringy and white I'd start treating for internal parasites. There is a sticky on "treating hexamita" in the fw diseases forum and if I were you I'd find it and start the salt treatment that RD suggests on there. Especially while the Oscar is still eating. Another good thing to get into their diet is some kind of garlic. There's garlic in NLS and in Hikari bio gold so try to get him feeding on one of those. I've also had good results when treating internal parasites, in my Trimac and my Carpintis, with a product called "garlic xtreme" made by Kent. Good luck.

Idk man. You could be right, but I've dealt with hex before and it's pure white and kinda fuzzy. This looks different, but I could be wrong...
