Oscar on a RAMPAGE

I dont know whats goin on with him. He just snapped about an hour ago lol
He ate one of my tiger barbs and now he is attacking eveything he sees.
Other fish, plastic plants, Plecos, bubbles, his reflection and hes even mad at the huge whole my red devil has been digging lol.

Has this happen to anyone else? This is the first time he has did this. He has been sulking alot since we moved about 2 months ago.

Of course he ate the tiger barb. They eat anything that will fit in the mouth. Destroying plants is typical behavior. How big is the tank and what other fish are in it?

mine picks fights with my big pleco but the plec is bigger than the o and soo the o gets a smack down somtimes and yeah I gave up on fake plants i just have drift wood and heavy rocks

He always rips the plants out of the gravel. I just took a small fake plant out because he kept ripping it out and swimming around with it in his mouth.

The behavior you are describing is pretty typical for oscars. Mine love the filter inlets and outlets, bubbles, etc. Tiger barb will be a snack soon, but sounds like you'll be ok for a while with those two fish. Devil may get agro when bigger.

yea i plan on getting another tank for him when he gets bigger. He's only about 3 inches now.
