Hi,
My 6 year old Oscar's poop has recently been coming out as large cylinders, about the size of a tootsie roll, but a little thinner.

He's been eating hikari carnisticks his whole life, and if I change the pellets, the poop is still unusually large and compact (only color changes).

Images of the logs should be attached below. 20200102_195340.jpgWhat might explain this, and should I be worried?

You should not be worried, it's normal for bowel movements to change when they start eating differently. You should only be worried if he doesn't poop much (or at all) or if it comes out white and stringy.

Yup. When my O eats pellets he has soft dark logs. When he eats meal worms they turn to firm logs that are lighter in color!
