Oscar Poop!!

I dont know if I should put this in this section but it has to do with my oscars poop ... i cant think of the type of filter that i have but its for a tank that is 20g bigger then my 55g... its a hang on the back... problem is that the intake for it has a cap that doesnt allow larger pieces of poop to flow through it... im afraid that if i take the cap off one of my small plecos will swim up the tube... cause they like hanging out behind the tube sometimes... should i worry about this or should i just take the cap off and hope everything is alright?

Is this a seine type of cap? if so just brake out every other spline to make holes bigger.

or

See if your lfs has a different style cap with bigger holes that will fit or you can silicone on.

or

Make one yourself out of a piece of pvc pipe & cap with the right size holes drilled in it.

Yes they will try to get in there, 'cause there is algae in the tube.

Thats why I love my ugf never a turd in sight.sure I have to vac the gravel weekly but Id do that anyway
