If you're looking to buy one, check around here first. You'll definitely get a better deal. At 10" around here in SoCal...I've seen them go from $30-$50

A 10" Oscar in my neck of the woods retails for an average price of $45-$55.

I got a 9"er a year ago for 10$. He had slight HITH and stunting. Why not buy a baby for 5$ and grow him out? so much more fun IMO.

i got 3 six inch oscars for free on craigslist, now they are about 8 1/2 in 4 months later

Most area LFS sell them for under $20...hard to get rid of. They might not even take them in (for free). Folks give them away on craigslist.
