Oscar problem

I have a large 11" albino oscar, I about a month ago I added a 8" tiger oscar. For about 3 days the albino bullied the new fish like he does all my new fish. I never seen him hurt him just push him about. But now he doesn't really bully him any more and they both eat, but the tiger oscar just unhappy he stays on one side of the tank looking stressed. Then when the light goes out he's out swimming with the other larger oscar, arguing with my 12" Pleco being a normal oscar. Why is this? What should I do? Maybe get a next 8" oscar for him 2 play with??

does this just happened, or since u bought it?
my oscar always like tht when i turn on the lights at night, he goes to the back of the driftwood where it's darker and doesnt want to come out, play, eat or anything. but when morning comes, he goes crazy like usual.

Since I got it. Not sure if he's nervous of me or the bigger oscar? He comes out and eats but that's it.

hhmm, there are possibilities in both u mentioned. u said about a month agom then he must already get use to u. when u feed them, does he eat when ure infront of the tank?
i put a small snakehead just about my oscar's size once, then in the morning i found out tht his fins are nipped and like pouts in the bottom of the tank. i remove the snakehead then my oscar goes back to normal. there are no bite marks on ure tiger right? maybe the light's too bright man. maybe before u purchased it, his owner usually turned of the lights at night. but i dont know.

Yea he comes out and eats all the time, and there are no bites on him. But the rest of the time he stays on the left hand side of the tank under some wood.

The smaller oscar is probably stressed out from the bigger oscar. How big is the tank?

yeah, probably he's afraid of ure bigger oscar. wht size of tank u keeping him and wht are other fish is in with him?
why dont u try moving the bigger oscar in another tank for a while and see if the smaller oscar stops pouting?

Yea I think he was worried about the other oscar. They seem to be getting on quite well now. Swimming around together terrorizing my plecos and cat fish lol. My tank is 5' long, 17" wide, 22" height.

hmm, based from the dimensions of ure tank it's a 95g. dont they fight? cuz usually more than 1 oscar must be kept in a 100g+, plus there is a 12" pleco and it's look like the common ones which can reach about 20", ure tank's a bit overstocked. but if there arent any signs of agressions on each other it's probably okay. are they the only fish in ure tank?

I'd say as long as its just your Oscars, pleco, and cats your fine in the 95. It could be the light. Maybe its too bright. Try using a lower dimmed light?
