hey i have a 46 gallon bow front with a tiger oscar about 4 inches a 4 inch african catfish and 7 inch senegal bichir. i added the tiger oscar about a week ago and he is always at the bottom.... one day i looked in the tank and the oscar had a big chunk of flesh taken out.. i keep an eye on the tank and he never got bit again but still on the ground never really swimming. he only eats when a piece of shrimp floats right in front of him. he has been this way for 1 week. WHAT SHOULD I DO?????

Thanks :)

he is stressed and scared to be bit again... do you have some plants on the bottom ..something to hide in.. maybe some long stems that go up to the top..so he can still hide but come up once in awhile.

damn... I hate to see fish biting chunks out of each other, maybe divide him for a bit until he heals?
