Oscar Question

I have a question about the colouration of my oscar.

Last night I bought two tiger oscars, very cute little guys! At the shop the black and red on them was very distinictive which is obviously what attracted me to taking them home.

When I put them in my tank the black on them seems to have faded out and looks a bit dull now.

I was wondering is their colour being dulled by one blue light that I have or is it stress? I wondered because the black on my JD's doesn't seem to be affected by the lighting.

If anyone can lend some knowledge that would helpful.

stress is all they will color up when they settel in

its stress. thats usual for cichlids in a new environment
in time they'll be as pretty as ever
