I was wondering if i could get a oscar with my bala sharks for now since there going to a bigger tank soon so can i keep them together? or is a bad idea cause i hear its ok and then i hear its totally bad so whats better a yes or no with a explanation is good..:nilly:

Thats fine. Id suggest getting the tank first. People always say they will then wonder why their fish look like hell and die. Balas and Oscars get BIGGGGG so you will need a monster tank. "AT LEAST" over 100gal for an adult oscar and a school of a couple balas.

ok well i will get the tank soon then or whenever i can get it even if it is a few years from now ill still get the tank(s) that i want:):nilly::):nilly:

see that is what fishingout was talking about, you will need the larger tank asap with those future monsters "a few years from now", you say you have a 10g soon to be a 55g but you are going to need a much larger tank than this for these fish for 2 balas a pleco and an oscar you would need at least a 120g tank (you could probably add another bala if you got this size tank), also plecos get huge and are big waste producers so if you got it because it will "clean" your tank then i would go return it because simply keeping your water clean will be more efficient at taking the algae of your glass then any kind of pleco will
