Hi, I have 1 oscar and 2 RBP in my 110 gal.

The oscar is 7-8 inches (cant really measure it). Also, I have a smaller oscar in my 30gal. Its 3-4 inches.

Im worried I wont be able to move the small one with the larger one when it grows up. Also how big would it have to be before I even try?

I've heard theres a 66% chance of your oscars not trying to kill each other (if they're girl-girl, or boy-girl), is there a way to know?

thanks

I'm suprised that you're concerned about 2 Oscars killing each other but not you RBPs killing the one Oscar. I didn't think that 1 oscar would mix well will 2 RBPs.

Anyway, a 110 is too small for 2 Oscars, so I wouldn't even try it. Territorial issues would be a problem. Not enough space.

the bigger one has his territory established in that tank, he would kill or beat up any other fish that u put in with him

a 110 is too small for two rbp and one oscar. If you wanna keep rbps and oscars, I recomend a much larger tand and more rbps and two oscars. as a former keeper of rbps, though, I'll tell you don't be surprised when you find the occasional fish head on the floor of your tank. piranha sometimes eat their tankmates.

I stopped reading after the first sentence.......NO fish will live with a rbp.....Trust me, I have direct experience with them.........Take the oscar out, it will not growout with these fish.......The best thing to do is to add another rbp to the group....Never have two together, this will lead to terrtorial issues.........Adding 2-5 more will be the safegaurd number........Once again, throw out the Oscar from the 110, YOU DO NOT WANT THIS>>>>Oscar+Piranha=DEATH to OSCAR........

Thats odd, I had them for almost 6 months in a 30 gal, just fine they get along perfect, actually they swim around together, Im actually starting to think the oscar might be confused thinking hes a piranha.

I dont know what your experience is, but so, they dont even mess with the pleco and the 2 raphaels I got in there.

The reason im more concerned about having Oscar vs Oscar trouble is because I heard that when you got 2 males, they tend to fight, that is all

keep the piranha in the 30 and put the oscars in the 110 if the 2 oscar are the same siz they will fight if not they should be fine.
