Oscar Question

On average how big do oscars get? I'm asking because yesterday at the lfs i saw an oscar that was an orangeish pink color and had to be at least 18"+ it was the biggest O i've ever seen! I'm not interested in purchasing him but i'll be sure to take a couple pics of him when i go back today. at least he's housed properly in a 180

That certainly would be the biggest one I've ever heard of... and I've never seen one with pink coloration. Can't wait to see the pictures.

I have seen an 18 inch wild Oscar on here before, but I don't think they get that big very often. Looking forward to the pics!

Ive had 14-17" inchers but never seen a pink one. Im also excited for the pics!
