I've never noticed this but do some albino O's fin tips turn a lil black? I can post a pic if need be. It's not fin rot or fungus, I figure it's just there color strain?

Most Albino Oscar's are are in fact not "True Albinos". A true Albino has no pigment at all so its white and pink with pink eyes. We just call them Albinos due to the white base color, when in fact they are Lutino Oscar's . They come in varied colors, tiger, red, lemon etc
Like my girl Toni. She was sold as a Albino Tiger Oscar, but she does have a smidge of black in her pelbic fins and dorsal, also black eyes. So in fact she is not an "Albino" but a Lutino Tiger Oscar.

IMG_0980 (2).jpg Yea, I made the same mistake I also thought I had an Albino when i bought my Oscar but started to wonder why he started to show some black markings, after a little research I found out it was a Lutino Oscar. The big give away that its not an albino is the pigment in the eyes. Its a Gorgeous Fish.
