55 too small for sure, 75. filter, Aquaclear 110.is fine and low price and flagship HOB

filter looks okay, heater is good to i have it in my 75g over tank

that filter will work, i would add another filter also. maybe a hang on back filter? ac110 or emperor 400?

Agreed, I had a 404 filtering my 100g with an oscar and a few tank mates. I added an old fluval 202 I had around and the parameters were good but my water polishing was horrible. Changing the media would have helped. Anyhow you should be good with the 75g and the 406, but may want to add another filter down the road

I would do a 75 with 2 big hob filters (easier to work on...)..penguin 350 or aqua clear 110...heater should be about 200-300 watts..with an oscar you need a heater "guard" also .dont worry they are cheap....

I run 2 AC110's on my 75 gallon oscar tank. Easy maintenance and they keep the water crispy clear!
